Animating a Grimm's Fairytale story. This was done in an experimental style and animated by hand. The animation has a darker feel behind it, as well as intentional liminal spaces which create more uncanniness in the story. The style of the animation reflects the tone of the story, including bizarre images, and a limited color palette.
All aspects of animation were edited together by me, typically in sets of three, in around 24 fps. In total, over 120 assets were made or edited by hand to create each unique character animation within this motion project.
